GLAD IT WORKED OUT FOR YOU BUT I CAN REMEMBER A CERTAIN DISPUTE I HAD WITH (CASCADE SPORTSBOOK) AND ALL THE FORUMS TURNED THE OTHER WAY AND LET LENNY ROB ME.I STILL FEEL THE FORUMS ALWAYS SIDE WITH THE SPORTSBOOKS BECAUSE THEY ARE PAID SO OBVIOUSLY YOUR NOT GOING TO GET A FAIR CASE.

I HAD A SPORTSBOOK CASCADE GRADE A BET MINUTES AFTER A GAME STARTED THEN GRADE IT A LOSS IN THERE FAVOR.EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A WRITTEN RULE THAT SAID

(ALL WAGERS WILL BE ACCEPTED UP UNTIL THE POSTED STARTING TIME OF THE EVENT) NOWHERE DOES IT SAY CASCADE CAN ACCEPT A BET MINUTES AFTER AN EVENT STARTS THEN STEAL MY MONEY.

SO ONCE AGAIN GOOD FOR YOU GETTING THIS MATTER RESOLVED BUT I STILL WILL NEVER FORGET THE DAY CASCADE ROBBED ME AND NOBODY CAME TO MY DEFENSE:finger:

WILHEIM DID A GOOD JOB WITH FRANKS BUT IT ISNT ALWAYS PEACHES AND CREAM THIS IS MY POINT.NOBODY IN THESE FORUMS SAID A WORD WHEN I WAS ROBBED AND I AM STILL BITTER OVER IT TO THIS DAY THAT A PAID SPONSOR AT THE TIME WAS ALLOWED TO ROB ME.THAT IS ALL I JUST WANTED TO SHOW YOU THAT WILHEIM DID A GOOD JOB IN THIS CASE BUT DONT ALWAYS DEPEND ON THE FORUM TO SPEAK UP AGAINST A PAID SPONSOR IT JUST WONT HAPPEN.

Posters can believe what they want but I am here to tell you that what BTJ says about moderators favoring the books in a legitimate dispute is not accurate. Rx.com mods always do their best to try to get the fair result to take place.

Sometimes it does not happen but not for lack of trying. Some disputes (like Jim's now ancient NBA Total dispute with Cascade) are complicated rule interpertations that could go either way.

I am not going to rehash BTJ's issue here. I don't even think I was a moderator here (or anywhere else) when it occured..

DO YOU THINK ANY SPORTSBOOK SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO ACCEPT A BET 15 MINUTES AFTER A GAME STARTS JUST WANT YOUR HONEST ANSWER WILHEIM.

15 MINUTES ISNT EXACTLY 2 MINUTES AFTER A GAME STARTS.

WE CANT JUST SWEEP THESE DISPUTES UNDER THE RUGS I LIKE TO THINK MY CASE AGAINST CASCADE HAS CHANGED THE INDUSTRY FOR THE BETTER.IT WAS 2003 WILHEIM THAT CASCADE ROBBED ME.

Jim you have to take into consideration the technology involved when you made your late bet, was it by phone or over the internet. I am certain today you would be very hard pressed to get a bet down (especially an NBA total) 15 minutes after the game started.

All I ever hear is you accept a bet then you pay it if you lose - well it works both ways - you make a bet then you should be ready to pay if you lose just like I am certain you would take the money if you won.

You made the bet late, it got accepted and Cascade was in a position where they had to pay if they lost then they should have to have the opportunity to collect if they win.

That is the simple basic credo of sports wagering and the decades old relationship between bookmaker and bettor. Both parties HAVE to to be able have the opportunity to win if they take the risk of losing.

Jim, in all honesty I don't agree that Cascade was trying to scam you for a measley $600 - sorry but that is my honest opinion.

Obviously you are either a hypocrite or got paid off - see post #20. You wrote that and many other very similar posts in 2005. Obviously somthing made you change your mind once back then that Cascade was fine and you recommended them but now you are again back to calling them thieves and crooks. Perhaps you are guilty of using a forum to blackmail a book and if that is true then you should be ashamed of yourself.

Without a doubt you have made a huge mountain out of a small molehill for the last five years. Take responsibility for your own actions and buy a watch so you know what time it is when you bet while you are at it.

You got your $600 so that shouldn't be a problem.
